Heritage Family Services is currently seeking a part-time THERAPIST for their treatment foster program in WETASKIWIN, AB.  The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree with a professionally recognized designation, and be trained in play therapy, family systemic theory, child abuse/neglect and child welfare work.  This position is14 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours in the future.  The individual should be highly motivated with strong writing, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Gaetz Ave Apartments (Heritage Transitional Housing)

Looking for a live in Unit Supervisor to manage 40 bed transitional housing program. The Unit Supervisor will work directly with the Program Coordinator and Support Worker to assist with intakes, discharges and overall supervision of the program.  For more information about this program go to Community Programs on the home page and click on Gaetz Ave Apartments.  In addition to a full time salary and benefits (after six months), accommodations, utilities, food and access to laundry are included.  Every second weekend from Friday afternoon until Monday morning will be covered with relief staff for scheduled time off for the Unit Supervisor.  For further information regarding this position, please contact Kelsey at 403-342-2881 or Joleen at 403-343-3422 (ext.34)

Salary Range 31,788.00 - 38,976.00 per year.

Looking for a full time Program Coordinator to manage 40 bed transitional housing program.  The Program Coordinator will work with the staff (live in manager, support worker, kitchen and cleaning) to assist individuals in locating permanent, stable, affordable housing.  Program Coordinator must have a clean criminal record, valid drivers license, first aid/cpr and professional experience in the area of mental health, addictions and homelessness.  Program Coordinator must be able to work collaboratively with other community agencies, have strong organizational skills and ability to operate microsoft office and excel. 

Salary Range:  44,868-54,372 per year.  This is based on a 40 hours/week.  Benefits available after 6 months.

Looking for a full time Community Support Worker to work in transitional housing. This is a new position being added to the program and duties may include:

assisting the Program Coordinator in facilitating intakes and discharges,

helping individuals connect to appropriate community resources,

developing positive life plans for residents,

helping individuals secure appropriate housing.

Experience with mental health, addictions and homelessness would be an asset.  Must be able to operate microsoft word.  Valid drivers license, first aid/cpr and clean criminal record check is a condition of employment.

Salary Range: 37,704-45,660 per year.  Benefits available after six months.
