PREPARING FOR ADULT LIVING (PAL)
Red Deer PAL Program Coordinator - Cathy Sampson
Supported Independent Living programs target youth who are ready to move toward independence. While independence is being practiced, the staff at Heritage Family Services place an emphasis on being interdependent. Looking at our daily interactions through a relational sense, we come to see our lives as truly in need of each other for more than just survival; we need relationships to thrive as adults. PAL is a supported program that provides living skills to youth 16 years of age and over. Living skills are completed in 3 separate stages. Age of youth admitted: 16 years of age and older.
