Helping Find Solutions in central Alberta and on the other side of the planet

Through the generous donations of its staff and management, Heritage Family Services has been able to fund the building of two schools and a school dormitory in Lao Cai province, Vietnam and fund the building of a group home within an orphanage at the Place of Rescue in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.  In May of 2006 nine staff from Heritage travelled to the village of Vinh Yen to assist in the construction of the second school.

The construction of these facilities and the group travel to help in the construction of the Vinh Yen school was arranged through Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization.  The schools and the dorm are presently owned and operated as government facilities.
